Who is Chris Massari?

Hailing from the slums of Shaolin, but not really, CHRIS MASSARI is a New Jersey native and former writer at outlets such as HEAVY.COM, AINT IT COOL NEWS, COMICSVERSE, BLACK BELT MAGAZINE, and BLOODY ELBOW. He’s also the co-creator and co-author of the creator-owned series, THE SIX SWORDS, and the writer of two comic shorts in A WRESTLING ANTHOLOGY KAYFABE VOLUME 3.

Currently, Chris is in the middle of several projects, the children’s graphic novel IS DAD A VAMPIRE?! with co-creator Fred C. Stressing, [Redacted] graphic novel with co-creator Giovanni Valetta, [Redacted] ongoing with co-creator Malia Knight, and a one-shot comic book, FIRST CONTACT, with co-creator Renato Quiroga.

Chris is also the author of an upcoming non-fiction martial arts history book for the publisher HYBRID SHOOT and writing a non-fiction book on Italian-American and Italian culture and history.

He is represented by Anissa Dorsey and Rose Carter Agency.

When he isn’t writing, he is probably practicing the art of face-to-fist and pajama wrestling, creating amateur-level Italian dishes his grandmother would frown at, or screaming at the television in support of a Philadelphia team (E-A-G-L-E-S) and the Azzurri. Also, Daje Roma!
